The Knexus Business Development Representative is a highly motivated, driven and commercially-minded sales expert, dedicated to opening up high quality conversations with potential customers through a variety of channels and techniques. They are goal-oriented and focused on building a robust top-of-sales-funnel for our Account Executives to engage with and close.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a relevant sales/SDR/BDR role, with a history of consistently exceeding targets and top performance
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written (via phone, in-person, email and other written comms, including contribution to marketing/social/sales content such as LinkedIn)
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong networker, able to open business conversations through use of your connections and market knowledge – having a network you can leverage is highly desirable
- A great level of commercial awareness and judgment to prioritise prospects and opportunities
- Experience of selling technology solutions B2B in a high performance sales environment, to mid-market or enterprise companies, ideally in eCommerce
- Significant advantage for “Top Performer” badge Oracle or Salesforce
Education:
- Preferably graduate-level, but candidates with relevant experience also considered
Responsibilities:
- Represent Knexus’ products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of our products, leading to client research to identify how our solutions meet the needs of our target customers
- Generate leads and build relationships through initial cold outreach, nurturing these into warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
- Identify key stakeholders at target accounts using Linkedin SalesNav and other tools
- Create and execute long term multi-channel prospecting sequences to engage contacts, utilising Hubspot, cold calling, and email in order to generate new sales opportunities
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales team for next steps (setting up calls, co-ordinating contact)
- Identify best practices to refine Knexus’ lead generation approaches – proactively generating ideas
- Keep up to date with market trends and identify opportunities as they arise to ensure we engage at the earliest point in a client’s decision making process
- Monitoring and reporting on weekly, monthly and quarterly results
- Contribute proactively to Knexus’ marketing and branding efforts where appropriate
